Cancel your taxi...

Three days after trying lamoprazole I learned that it's definitely not for me. I'd been ill. 'So much for remedies for acid reflux,' I'd thought on Saturday as I'd sought to recover from the crap of the day.

The printer went down, with the weirdest of issues... the screen readout tells me, 'cardridge will not work until it is enrolled.' It is and I pay monthly for the inverted comma service.

Thankfully, thak to Youtube and Big Finish, I have enough distraction, which has been assuredly needed of late, what with the guts, loose teeth and a cross between a massive bruise and a bite mysteriously appearing on my inner lower right arm.

The shortest night of the year had got to me; with a bright light of a moon somehow keeping me aware till the early hours.

I finally managed to remind myself to get some suncreen, factor 50 for dads nose: which is cancer benign, so far.

Then as I got a taxi drive to the shops for Dad and myself, I noticed the drivers surprise as he noticed his wife phonecall. It had seemed that over three days, three people have killed themselves at Clattebridge roundabout.

Then after three nights of no sleep and two days with the runs, I'd been more than a tad fatigued and I got few things done.
Finally I got a few nights sleep and kept down my soup and ensure drinks.

A few days later I went in the back garden to do some weeding and spade work, for an hour and a half. Later I'd found it hard to walk: and much later I'd told Dad with a light smile, “Seems I no longer have arthritis in just my left knee. It seems that I also have it in my right knee.”

I'd later lain back and rested, listening to my Torchwood audio's.

We've had days of sun and a few nights of rain and everything in the garden is growing well: my strawberries are doing well.

So, when it came to making my blueberry and bannana cream drink, I'd used strawberries, instead of blueberries.

Then once more my Dad and I had worked together, as we seem to, when somethings gone wrong and he task cannot be accomplished without aid. I had slid the right hand greenhouse door off and couldn't get it back on its runners.

So I'd asked for help, which he had provided. Granted it hadn't been easy, but we'd got the job done.

I'd patted him on the shoulder and told him, “We're brilliant!”

Furthermore I'd finished a story, the first half of which I'd written fast. And having finished it, I'd sat back feeling more than a tad satisfied.

I'd been waiting for a taxi, to go on runaround, when a friend called round.
“Cancel your taxi and pay my petrol and I'll take you.” Then he had reminded me, “After all you do want some canes for the tomatoes.” I'd finally given in and had cancelled my taxi and we went to a gardening centre, looking for canes, travelling almost as far as Wales, almost.

I think it was called Burleighdam, albeit I'm not sure.

Anyway, we got back to mine and he'd help me with my new Beef Tomato plants.
